Duncan is currently Customer Success & Operations Director at Foods Connected and has been working in the food industry for 12 years. Duncan began his career as a management trainee at Hilton Food Group, working his way up to Procurement Manager in his time there. Duncan then joined Tesco, where he worked as Buying Manager, responsible for beef procurement across the business. Duncan has brought a great wealth of procurement knowledge and experience to Foods Connected since joining in 2017. Duncan was instrumental in building our new team in Australia and has played a significant role in the strategy and development of Foods Connected’s suite of procurement tools.
Shane started his career in the FMCG food sector and progressed through the business management framework, having fulfilled Technical Manager, Operations Manager, and Site General Manager roles. Success in leading large-scale manufacturing business takes both cross-departmental management expertise internally and effective alignment across the wider supply chain meeting ever-evolving market demands.
Years of global consultancy work, across Australia, China, and the EU, has concentrated on both the development and implementation of bespoke LEAN-based, operational process management frameworks delivering client need within their internal manufacturing environment and across their respective supply chains.
Throughout his career, Shane has remained committed to the core principles of high-level manufacturing, product specification, and maintenance of effective site management practices and positive working culture.
